Let’s face it. We are not rational, and we are not logical. We are emotional creatures, and it is this emotion that drives our behavior and decisions.

As consumers, we would very much like to believe that we make purchasing decisions based on clear, rational thinking and logical analysis of the available options that ultimately justify our purchase as the “right” purchase. Furthermore, the decision to make that purchase is 100% of our own accord and of our own volition. Right?

However, the truth is that we are much more influenced by our emotions than we might realize, and much more than we would ever confess to. How heavily does emotion weigh on our decision-making exactly?
